William Anthony Hearn

William Anthony Hearn, 69 years young, a shining example of strength and kindness, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024 after a long fight with Alzheimer's. His loved ones take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and his memories are restored.

William was born in Bethesda, Maryland on January 19, 1955 to Mary Louise Smith and Jowell Monroe Hearn Jr. He was one of five children: Mary; Jowell; Phillip; Melinda. He then followed in his father's foot steps and joined The United States Marine Corps.

From the moment he joined the Marines in August 1974, he embarked on a remarkable journey of self-discovery and growth. Over two decades of service, he evolved into an accomplished devil dog with unwavering dedication to his country until he retired in August of 1994.

William and Carolyne Hearn embarked on a beautiful journey of love and family on September 24, 1982, which blossomed into a fulfilling life in Houston Texas where together they raised a lovely family with their three children (Nathan; Josh; Brandi), creating memories to last a lifetime. The union between William and Carolyne Hearn was one filled with happiness as they shared an inspiring story of love, growth, and devotion.

William embodied kindness and strength, touching hearts of everyone he met. His contagious laughter filled the room with joy and his enduring love kept those around him warm.

After 45 years of marriage, Carolyne Hearn, and his adored children, Nathan Hearn, Joshua Hearn, and Brandi Osorio, survive him. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Kylee and Sebastian Osorio, and Mia and Lexi Hearn.

Services will be held at Cleveland Funeral Home of Watertown on Friday February 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
