Roxanna Schoff Obituary

Roxanna M. Schoff, 86, Cape Vincent, NY, passed away on Wednesday morning, December
17th, 2025 at The Grand Rehab and Nursing in Rome.
Roxanna was born on December 17th, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas. She attended Wyandotte
High School and graduated in 1957. Following graduation, she met the love of her life, Craig
(Buzz) Schoff, from there they were married on June 22nd, 1957 and began to build a life
together. They lived in various cities for Buzz’s career, including Plattsburgh, NY where
Roxanna was blessed to have both of her children, Joe and Niki. After their time in Plattsburgh,
they moved to Cape Vincent, NY, which would become their home for the next 50+ years.
During Roxanna’s time in Cape Vincent she found herself enjoying volunteer opportunities at
the library, with the Cub Scouts and Brownies and anywhere else that needed her helping hand.
She had a love for books, animals, and her coffee club. One of her greatest joys was spending
time with her family, she loved her grand and great grandchildren immensely.
She is survived by her two children; Joseph Schoff and Nicole (Bruce) Mason, her three
grandchildren; Amity (Russell) Smith, Spencer Mason and Lauren Mason, and three great
grandchildren; Eden, Elaine and Audrey. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruby Lulu
(Ralph) Agnew, Walter Maxwell and husband, Buzz. A celebration of life and burial will be held
in the spring, per her request.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cape Vincent Ambulance Squad.
