When talking about Bob, "Complexity", is a word that flashes like some kind of neon monument hovering in the eyeline, and when you squint to focus, beyond the buzzing light, you see that with complexity comes a character full of variety.

We're talking about a man who feared no other man, possessed a vehement appreciation for nature, and would wield his charm like a sharpened blade.  If you knew him, you knew he loved a party. He loved being around a good group of people. He found true value in friendships, and if you needed to call on him he wouldn't hesitate to help.

He was also generous with his laugh, possessing a broad humor ranging from blue to goofy. He loved a good heist movie or western, and like any boy becoming a man in the seventies, Clint Eastwood was the ultimate.

His love for music stood above all his artistic interests. From rock to pop to country and everything in between. If you really wanted to see Bob get lost in the notes, Stevie Ray Vaughn reigned supreme. Pair SRV with a day on Lake Bonaparte with good friends and family, and you'd see a man enraptured. He spent a lot of his days on the lake, whether in his boat, or camping and swimming off the sandy beaches of the North shore. Bob took meticulous care and consideration to keep the lake even cleaner than he found it. It was truly his happy place for all of his life.

Remember him at his best. When he was generous, and loving. When he was affectionate and comforting. When he'd laugh at a raunchy joke you told him, or when he'd screw it up trying to retell it later after a few beers. When his eyes would light up with a good song coming out of the speakers, wearing a mischievous smirk as he'd turn it up just a little louder. Or when he was on one of the many motorcycles he owned in his life. Cruising fast and carving through the wind head on. Chewing up the road and existing at top speed.

Or remember him exactly how you want to and don't let anyone tell you any different. He wouldn't have it any other way.

A memorial event will be announced at a later date
