Merilyn Ruth Woodward

Merilyn Ruth Woodward, 92, of Cape Vincent, NY passed away on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown, NY.

Merilyn was born on October 25th, 1932 in Temperance, Michigan to the late Lowman and Mary (Grycza) Wagle. Merilyn married her husband Marshall Woodward, and together they raised their five children, David Woodward, Debbie Ashwood, Darlene Duly, and Dennis and Donald Woodward.

Merilyn enjoyed a life full of joy, love, and family. Some of her favorite things in life included sports, especially bowling, tennis, and basketball. She also loved music and dancing, reading, Dunkin Donuts munchkins, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and most of all spending time with her family.

Merilyn is survived by her children, David Woodward, Debbie Ashwood, and Darlene Duly, her brother, Jerry Wagle, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Merilyn is predeceased by her husband, Marshall Woodward, her parents, Lowman and Mary Wagle, her sons, Dennis and Donald Woodward, her brother, Lowman Wagle Jr., and her beloved dog Cocoa.

A private family service will be held at a date to be determined.
