Mary Ann LaClair peacefully passed away in the company of her family on December 22, 2023, at the age of 73, at Hospice in Watertown, NY. She worked as a Hairstylist for over 40 years, starting at Magic Mirrors and then working at different salons, including the Hair Loft and Regis. Later in her life, she worked as a Patient Sitter, taking care of patients at Samaritan Hospital for ten years. Mary Ann was an animal lover and volunteered at the SPCA in Watertown.
Mary Ann had a love for the water, spending time in her childhood on the lake and later in life on the St. Lawrence River, where she enjoyed boating. She was a cat lover, and Lucy (Boo) was with her at the end. Mary Ann was passionate about hair, and she kept changing her hairstyles throughout the year. She was also a foodie who couldn't get enough of potatoes.
Mary Ann was the daughter of Virginia (Ginny) Leonard. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, JoAnn Saunders and Jill Exford. Mary Ann is survived by Adam LaClair and his family.
