Louella Elaine Derouin

Louella Elaine Derouin, 76, of LaFargeville, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home Inc., Watertown, New York.

Louella was born on February 6th, 1949, to Francis and Lois Jesmore. 

Louella was known for her love of the color purple, her love of horses, and her crafting skills, which included needlepoint, knitting, and crocheting. She loved her family and friends and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Louella is survived by her children Richard (Kimberly) Derouin, LaFargeville, NY, and James (Dorothy Marino) Derouin, Watertown, NY. She is also survived by her Former Spouse, Roy Derouin, LaFargeville, NY, a Daughter-in-Law, Karen Derouin, Calcium, NY, and her brothers Bill (Joyce) Jesmore, Evans Mills, NY and Clyde Jesmore, Watertown, NY. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren Nickolas Derouin, Jacob Derouin, Connor Derouin, Logan Derouin, Craig Thompson, Haileigh Denner, Navaeh Denner, Xavier Derouin, Isaiah Derouin; along with 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Louella is predeceased by Millie (Fred) Phelps and Roy Jesmore.  

Calling hours will take place at Cleveland Funeral Home, 404 Sherman St. Watertown, NY 13601 on July 12th, 2025, from 11am to 1pm. A private burial will take place at a later date.
