She graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1967, beginning her teaching career in Watertown, NY and later teaching at Calcium Elementary School, where she dedicated herself to education until her retirement. Throughout her life, Lee was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. She cherished her family, her community, and the simple joys of everyday life. Lee’s presence brought comfort and inspiration to all around her.

Lee enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Watertown Senior Center, watching the Yankees and Syracuse basketball and football, crossword puzzles, and reading. She could often be found outside watching the ships go by on the St. Lawrence River or listening to the birds.
