Kenneth Wayne Lanning

Kenneth Wayne Lanning, 79, of Chaumont, NY passed away at Samaritan Medical Center on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Kenneth was born on July 29th, 1944 to the late Jess and Alice (McGlaughlin) Lanning. He served his country in the Army and worked as a civil engineer for the NYS Department of Transportation before his retirement in 2022.

Kenneth is survived by his son Kurt Lanning and wife Lori of St. Louis, MO as well as his step-son Joseph Siragusa and wife Jennifer of Lancaster, NY. He was predeceased by his wife, Elaine M. Lanning, in November of 2018.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jefferson County SPCA at 25056 Water Street, Watertown, NY 13601.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 25th from 1pm to 4pm at Becker-Cleveland Funeral Home in Chaumont, NY.
