Julie Paris Obituary

Julie Joanne Paris, 53, Calcium, passed away the afternoon of December 31, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 1st, 1970 at Mercy Hospital in Watertown, NY. She was the daughter of Gerald "Jughead" and Joanne Paris, who are also no longer with us and she missed terribly.

Julie graduated from General Brown High school in 1988. Following graduation, she worked at several local restaurants in Watertown and stayed in food service for majority of her life. Julie is survived by her companion Butch “Bill” Clark and their dog Gunner. Her three daughters, Jessica Turner and her husband Jordan, Morgan Gayton and her companion, Daquan Graves, Meagan Gayton and her companion Marlo Gomez. Julie is also survived by her sisters, Jeri Lawrence, her brother in law Pat Lawrence, Janel Ault and her husband Richard and her nieces and nephew, Baili, Blake and Hannah.

Julie was truly one of a kind and to know her was to love her. She was selfless, hardworking, resilient and strong. But her strength was put to the test in 2019 when her health took a turn for the worst and it has been a battle ever since. She was a fighter and refused to give up. Her true motivation and reason was her daughters and her grandkids, Devontae, Jada, Brylee, Camryn, Amari, Julionna and Novah.
She held on for so long, and finally she is at peace. If we her daughters want her to know anything its that we know she fought for as long as she could, we are proud of her and don’t worry about us because we will be okay. As far as her sisters- the sisterhood bond of the “J” birds will forever be. We know Julie would want to acknowledge all of her friends and her daughters friends who she considered to be family, Bills daughters and family for continuously checking in on her. A special thank you to Dr. Sears of Watertown and the transplant team at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester for loving Julie and taking the absolute best care of her. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can never thank you enough for all that you have done.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Julie Paris Memory Fund”. C/o Watertown Savings Bank located on Clinton Street in Watertown to help cover funeral expenses. Due to Julie’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held in January with details to follow.
