Jennifer A. Bernath

Jennifer A. Bernath, 18, was born on May 2, 2005 to Michelle Grekowski and Michael Bernath. In 2011 Jennifer was adopted by her grandparents, Kenneth and Deborah Pitcher and resided with her grandparents in Chaumont, NY. Jennifer attended Lyme Central School. She was on the Student Council, she also took an active part in Chrous, Jennifer enjoyed the drama club where she participated all of her high school years.

Jennifer worked at Telly’s Restaurant in Cape Vincent the summer of 2022, she then worked at Dollar General following graduation. Jennifer took joy in baking, attending Youth Group, crafting, doing puzzles, game night with her family as well as watching movies.

In August of 2023 Jennifer moved to North Carolina where she passed away, Monday, November 20, 2023 due to complications with her diabetes. Jennifer is survived by her mother, Deborah Pitcher, her sister Aniyah Corelli and a host of cousins, Aunts and Uncles. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Diabetes Foundation. May she rest in peace.

Services will be held at the Christian Life Church of 12749 12E Chaumont, NY. Calling Hours will be 10am-11am on Saturday, December 2nd. Services will follow at 11am with Repass 1pm - 3pm at the Crescent Restaurant in Chaumont, NY.
