Jean M. Wilson, 72, passed away on March 18, 2026 at Carthage Area Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown, NY.
Jean was born in Watertown, NY on September 23, 1953 along with her twin sister Joan (Barker) Martin to the late Clifford and Violet (Dwyer) Barker. She also had four brothers James Barker, William Barker, Donald Barker and Robert Barker.
She married Michael D. Wilson on December 12, 1987 at Asbury United Methodist Church, they resided in Watertown and spent many summers at their cottage in Pillar Point enjoying time with family and friends.
Jean worked a variety of Jobs in addition to being a homemaker. She worked for many years in the surgical unit at Samaritan Medical Center followed by working as a case manager for Transitional Living Services. Following that she worked for several years as a manager at Share-a-home, and finally she worked in the respite program for the Mental Health Association before retiring.
She had three children, a daughter Stacie L. (Muldovan) Johnson as well as two sons Chad M. Muldovan, and Michael D. Wilson II. And was grandmother to Aidan Barbosa, Hannah Johnson and Seth Muldovan.
Jean is survived by her husband of 38 years Michael Wilson, her two sons Chad (Nalene) Muldovan and Michael Wilson II, both of Watertown. Her twin sister Joan Martin of Felts Mills. Brothers William Barker of Theresa and Robert Barker of Watertown. Her grandchildren Aidan Barbosa, Hannah Johnson, Seth Muldovan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers James Barker and Donald Barker, daughter Stacie Johnson, brother-in-law Gregory Martin and mother-in-law Diane Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on a later date at the discretion of the family. Details to follow.
