Jacob Scott Parker passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the age of 21, after a nine month battle with brain cancer.
Jacob was born March 27th, 2003, in Watertown, NY to Scott and Sharon Parker (nee Crowder). Jacob graduated from General Brown High School in 2021. Following his graduation he worked at 7-11. He later was employed at North American Tapes where he worked with adhesive.
Jacob loved music, video games, gardening, and good food. He enjoyed frequenting local eateries such as Tully's, Coleman's, Arts Jug, Mo's Place, and Friede's. He loved his home; together with his girlfriend Autumn Lawry, they created a loving and warm space in which many have enjoyed.
Jacob was a beautiful soul. He wrote the following poem for his mother: "You are a shining star, showering everyone you see in your radiant light. You outshine even the brightest stars in the night.". Jacob, when we look to the evening sky we will remember your beautiful words and think of you.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Scott and Sharon Parker, his sister and brother-in-law Rachael Parker and Gabriel Aristizabal, his girlfriend, Autumn Lawry, his maternal grandparents, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at Cleveland Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5th, from 5-8 pm.
A celebration will be held to honor Jacob's life, where family and friends will gather to share stories and celebrate the joy he brought into their lives. The celebration will be held on Saturday, December 7th, from 1-4pm at Bistro 108.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choosing or to the family, to go towards Jacob's memorial bench.
