Donald C. Shaver

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Donald Charles Shaver (donnie,porky) age 52 of Watertown,New York who left us unexpectedly on 

September 19,2025 at his home.

Donald was born in Watertown, NY to Douglas and Judy Conway Shaver on Sept. 23, 1972. Donald took care of his mother judy over the years.

He was a die hard Miami Dolphins fan. He loved playing football and softball with family on the weekends growing up. To know him is to truly love him. His daughters Shannon and Samantha were his world. His grandchildren meant the world to him and he would do whatever for any of them. Donnie lived for his family.

Donnie was known for his warmth, kindness, and steady presence. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, whether with a quick smile, a helping hand, or a story that could make a whole room laugh. His sudden departure has left a void that words cannot truly fill. His memory and stories will live on through his children,grandchildren & family.

Donald is survived by his mother, Judy Shaver, Watertown, his children; Samantha Shaver, Watertown, and Shannon (Junior) Shaver, Watertown, his siblings; Douglas (Julie) Shaver, Florida, Penny (Cyril) Busch, Lowville, Dawn (Jerry) Manson- Burrville, Patricia (David) McNeil, SC, and Melinda Roberts, Watertown. Along with his grandchildren; Nico Dadson, Jaliyah, Natalia, Mila, and Kaia Dincol. His many nieces and nephews Shaver’s, Medina’s, Carriers, Brigham, Ratigliano’s ,Robert’s

Though his passing came far too soon, Donald leaves behind countless memories that will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew him. His legacy of love, generosity, and joy will live on.

Donnie is predeceased by his father Doug and his granddaughter Kaia.
