WATERTOWN, NY – Dale W. O’Hara, 67, of Leray St. passed away surrounded by family on November 23rd, 2025. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home.
Dale was born on September 23rd, 1958, to the late John and Betty (Lomas) O’Hara in Watertown, NY.
Dale worked as a truck driver during his life, which was one of his favorite things to do. In addition to that, Dale was known to have enjoyed spending his time joking around with friends and family, tinkering and fixing various things while listening to music, especially Pink Floyd, and loved drinking coffee and coke. Most importantly, Dale loved to help people. Although he was a man of few words, he will be remembered for his laughter.
Dale is survived by a daughter, Jocelyn Mono, his ex-spouse Laurie Mono, a brother John “Jack” (Katherina) O’Hara Jr. of Ashville, NC, sisters Trudy Thompson of Phoenix, AZ, Tammy (Leslie) Wager, of Dexter, NY, and Tina (Craig) Monaco of Adams, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren, Malichi Boss and Helena Bellabre, along with several nieces and nephews.
Dale is predeceased by both parents, John and Betty, along with a brother James Francis who passed away at birth.Hara
