Cory White

Cory Joseph White- Cape Vincent- December 8, 1979- October 27, 2025

Cory passed away October 27, after a  cardiac event while at work on Wellsey Island.

Cory was born December 8, 1979 in Watertown,  NY,  son of Havey White and Karen Bourquin Chapman. He attended Thousand Islands Central School. In school, Cory was an exceptional athlete,  who loved playing baseball and football. He played Youth Commission baseball at all levels and later enjoyed playing softball with Captain Jack's Team.

Cory worked on the family farm and locally at various jobs. He loved 4-wheeling, ATV's, fishing, Yankee baseball, Giants football and his boyhood dogs: George, Toby And Kujo.  He especially loved watching his daughter play sports and ride horses, also throwing or kicking a ball around the yard with her.

Cory is survived by his parents Karen (Terry) Chapman and Harvey ( Betsy Mason) White; his sister Casey ( Bob Ogden) Chapman; his beloved daughter, Isabella (Bella) White,  her mother Elizabeth Hines; his companion of 3 yrs, Emma Virkler  and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are with Cleveland Funeral Home, Cape Vincent.  Calling hours will be November 10, 2025, from 12-2, with funeral mass immediately following, both at St Vincent of Paul's Church, Cape Vincent. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery following the funeral mass. A reception for Celebration of Life will be held at Cape Vincent Recc Park, James St from 4-7 pm
