Clara M. Siver

Clara M. (Sandy) Siver, 92, of Chaumont, NY, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024.

Clara was born in Penn Yan, NY on May 10th, 1932 to the late Dominic and Josephine Anderson Scarpechi. In her early years, she was a housekeeper for the Adams family and worked at Wilson’s Nursing Home. She later worked at Northland Electric Motors for 28 years, retiring in 1999.

Clara loved watching the birds come to the back porch, she loved reading western romance books, and doing puzzle books. Her greatest joy was her grandson Zach, who was the light of her life.

Clara is survived by her daughter Nancy (Arthur) Ball of Chaumont, NY, a grandson, Zach (Danielle) Siver of Brownville, NY, and several nieces and nephews.

Clara is predeceased by her parents, a brother, William, and two sisters, Anna Hamilton and Mary Countryman.

A memorial service for Clara will be held at a later date.
