Charles E. Perkins

WATERTOWN- Charles E. Perkins, 58, of 301 Brainard St, Watertown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 16th, 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home Inc, Watertown.

Charles (Chuck) was born on September 11th, 1960 in Reading, PA to the late Kathleen M. Perkins and Frank B. Perkins. He was a graduate of Holy Names College, Alameda, California.

Chuck’s career was always in sales and public relations, taking him to San Francisco, California, Philadelphia, PA, and Washington D.C., before relocating to Watertown, NY to be closer with his family. In recent years he was employed with Davidson Ford, Watertown, NY. He fit this position well as he always had a ready smile and the gift of gab. He considered his team more like family than co-workers.

Chuck is survived by two siblings Thomas Perkins, Alameda, California, and Mary Ellen Moglia, Watertown, NY. He has several nephews along with one niece Lindsay (Josh) and her son and daughter, whom he adored and dotted on. He also is survived by a sister-in-law, Bernice Perkins, Lowville, NY.

He was predeceased by his mother Kathleen M. Perkins, his father Frank B. Perkins, and a brother William M. Perkins.

Per Chuck’s wishes there will not be calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of his family.
