Charles E. Jury, 82, of Cape Vincent, New York, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.

Charles was born on October 7, 1943, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to Charles W. Jury and Vivian Orgler Jury. He spent most of his life in New Jersey before relocating to Cape Vincent in 2005, where he enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the Thousand Islands region.

Charles had a deep appreciation for being near the water and found great joy in the peaceful surroundings of the St. Lawrence River. A highly skilled master metal worker, he dedicated many years to his craft and was respected for his talent, workmanship, and attention to detail.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His service reflected his dedication and commitment to those around him, qualities that remained evident throughout his life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles W. Jury and Vivian Orgler Jury; his beloved wife, Ellen Jury; his twin sister, Carolyn McCoy; and his nephew, Michael McCoy.

Charles is survived by his niece, Michele Estelle, and her husband, Doug Estelle, along with extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home, Cape Vincent, New York.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cape Vincent, with Rev. Ray Diesbourg officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Bay Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered in recognition of Charles' service to his country.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to honor Charles' memory by spending time near the water, reflecting on the simple pleasures he enjoyed throughout his life.
