Bruce Charles Bartholomew

Bruce Bartholomew (1948-2023), Henderson, NY died of natural causes. Born in the House of Good Samaritan on December 15, Bruce lived in Watertown all through high school. After graduation, Bruce moved to California and shared an antique shop with his younger brother Jeffrey for 25 years. Bruce came back to Northern New York settling in Henderson near family. There, Bruce continued his interest in vintage and antique treasures, enjoyed backyard birding, and maintained a productive vegetable garden. He also loved boating & fishing on Lake Ontario. Bruce is survived by his siblings Douglas, Amy, Raymond and Jeffrey. He was predeceased by his brother Al Bartholomew, and his parents Vera Harrison and Ray Bartholomew. He was uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews, and often brought them treasures that he uncovered. Bruce will be remembered as a kind soul and will be missed by family and friends. At his request, there will be no calling hours or service.
