Aaron S. Charpentier

Aaron S. Charpentier, 60, of Watertown, NY passed away at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Aaron was born on January 19, 1965 in Hubbardston, MA to William and Sandra (Murdock) Charpentier. He spent about half of his lifetime living in Watertown, NY.

Aaron was a very creative, caring, and open-minded soul, though he was known to be a little stubborn at times. He loved photography and art, and thought the world was a beautiful place. He was an artist and loved being an artist. He enjoyed fishing, swimming in the Black River, and attended A New Way Assembly of God in Watertown. 

There truly aren’t enough words to explain all that Aaron was to those who loved him.

Aaron is survived by his children, Stephanie Nathan, Patrick Shelmidine of Black River, NY, Erin Charpentier of Watertown, NY, and Sara Kiblin, as well as his brother, William (Susan) Charpentier of Hubbardston, MA, a sister, Rebecca, two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20th at 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home of Watertown, NY with Rev. Dominic Kriegbaum officiating.
